The District Event Venue respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the information you provide when you submit an inquiry, complete a lead form, contact us, or use our website.
Information We Collect
We may collect information, including your name, phone number, email address, event type, event date, guest count, and any other details you choose to provide about your event.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, check availability, provide venue information, discuss package options, schedule tours, send proposals, and communicate with you about your event.
Communication
We may contact you by phone or email regarding your inquiry. Submitting an inquiry or lead form does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages. SMS customer care requires your express opt-in. You may request that we stop contacting you at any time.
The District Event Venue offers requested SMS customer care. After you expressly agree during a call, we may send a follow-up text about your inquiry and respond to your questions. This post-call program does not send promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance, or call 727-306-8101. We do not sell your mobile information or share it with third parties for their marketing. Service providers process messaging and consent records only to operate this service on our behalf.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only as needed to operate our business, respond to your inquiry, manage bookings, or use trusted service providers that help us communicate with clients and manage events.
Email Marketing and Retention
We may retain contact and purchase records and use email addresses for future events, venue services, and related offers where permitted by applicable law and consent requirements. Use a marketing email's unsubscribe link or contact us to opt out. Marketing stops after opt-out; necessary booking, purchase, and customer service communications may continue. We retain information needed to honor your choice.
We retain information only as long as needed for event and booking administration, purchase and accounting records, customer support, security, legal obligations, and permitted future marketing. We review stored information at least annually and delete or anonymize information that is no longer needed. Opting out of marketing does not automatically require deletion of purchase or legally required records.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Our website uses Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to measure website activity and advertising results. These tools may receive IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, interactions, and cookie or similar identifiers. Meta may use activity to personalize advertising and associate it with activity across websites. Embedded YouTube videos, Instagram content, and Google Fonts also connect your browser to third-party providers, which may process technical information or use cookies under their own policies.
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser and use Google's and Meta's account advertising controls. Blocking cookies may affect some features. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Service Providers
Showit hosts our website and supports website forms. HoneyBook supports inquiries and client/project management. Our WordPress blog uses spam-prevention services. Providers process information needed for their services. Payment providers process payment details; we do not store full credit card information ourselves, but retain purchase records. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where providers operate.
Data Protection
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide. However, no method of online transmission or storage is completely secure.
Third-Party Platforms
If you submit information through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, HoneyBook, or other third-party services, your information may also be subject to their privacy policies and terms.
Your Choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or to stop marketing communications. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We may verify your identity and retain information where legally required or otherwise permitted. We will post policy changes here with an updated date and provide additional notice when required.
